Van
Dukes hardwood conservatories represent traditional manufacture at
its very finest, a combination of old fashioned values and new age
technology. Mortice and tenon construction of the frames with timber
profiles designed to meet severe weather rating standards.
All timbers will be Utile or Sapele hardwoods from sustainable sources
and are classed as durable within a scale of non-durable, semi-durable
and durable. |

The
timber profiles whilst being manufactured traditionally have the benefit
of glazing beads that accept EDPM gaskets that have the benefit of
clean and speedy on site glazing without the use of silicones or putty.
The glazing specification incorporates as standard 24mm sealed units
manufactured using toughened safety glass to BS6206.
The wall glass in the vertical elevations will also be fitted with
security glazing tape making glass removal from the outside virtually
impossible to remove from the outside.

The
window and door furniture will be brass lockable fittings and the
windows have the benefit of secure multi point espagnolette locking
systems with a night venting capability.
All timber is factory finished with Teknos (www.teknos-group.com)
environmentally friendly micro-porous water based products. The timber
will have two high build spray coats applied. |
